BROWSER TESTS COMPLETE!
This site requires two browser settings to work effectively.
1. JavaScript (Active Scripting) must be enabled and
2. Cookies must be enabled.Please note the results of the following tests.
If any show "FAILED!", you will not be able to navigate the site.

UNDERSTANDING JavaScript
JavaScript is a programming language that runs on your computer to assist in browsing web pages. Each small program (script) is downloaded when you load the web page.
The JavaScript language is restricted in its abilities to activities that will not adversely affect your computer eg. JavaScript cannot run other programs.
It is generally used to make navigation easier, to speed up results, to validate user input or to record preferences (by way of Cookies).JavaScript is ENABLED in browsers as the default setting.
To enable JavaScript, follow the directions below:Internet Explorer version 5.x
1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. If the security level is set to Custom, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium), then click OK.
Or
In the "Security level for this zone" box, use the slider to to set your level to Medium. Click Apply, then click OK.
Internet Explorer version 4.x
1. On the View menu, click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. If the security level is set to Custom, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium) or click the Settings... button, then, under Active scripting, click the Enable option.
4. Click OK.Internet Explorer version 3.x
1. On the View menu, click Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Run ActiveX scripts to mark the check box.
4. Click OK.IBM-compatible systems using AOL
This is a two-step process that depends upon the software you're using.
Step 1:
If you are using AOL3, click the Prefs button in the browser toolbar, then click the Security tab.
If you are using AOL4, click My AOL in the browser toolbar and choose Preferences. Then click WWW, and in the AOL Internet Properties box, click the Security tab.
Step 2:
Once you are viewing the Security tab, you'll need to enable Active scripting:
If you see a Run ActiveX scripts box, make sure it's checked. Then click OK.
If you see four option buttons (High security, Medium security, Low security, and Custom), click Custom and then click the Settings button next to it. Scroll down and, under Active scripting, click Enable, then click OK.Macintosh/Power PC systems using AOL
1. Click My AOL and choose Preferences.
2. Click WWW. (Some versions may say Web instead.)
3. In the Web Preferences dialogue box (right side of the screen), click the Advanced Settings button.
4. In the Advanced Settings dialogue box, click Web Content (left side of screen). (You may need to double-click Web Browser first to view this item.)
5. On the right side of the dialogue box, make sure the Enable scripting box is checked.
6. Click OK, then click OK again.
Macintosh/Power PC systems using Internet Explorer version 4
1. In the browser's toolbar, click Preferences to open the IE Preferences dialogue box.
2. On the left side of the dialogue box, click Web Content. (You may need to double-click Web Browser to view this item.)
3. On the right side of the dialogue box, make sure the Enable scripting box is checked.
4. On the left side, click Security Zones.
5. If the security level is set to Custom, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium) or click the Settings... button, then, under Scripting, look for Execute scripts and select Enable from the pop-up list.
6. Click OK, then click OK again.
Macintosh/Power PC systems using Internet Explorer version 3
1. In the browser's toolbar, click Preferences to open the IE Preferences dialogue box.
2. On the left side of the dialogue box, click Web Content. (You may need to double-click Web Browser to view this item.)
3. On the right side of the dialogue box, make sure the Enable scripting box is checked.
4. Click OK.
Macintosh/Power PC systems using Netscape Navigator
1. In the browser's toolbar, click Edit and Preferences.. to open the dialogue box.
2. On the left side of the dialogue box, click Advanced.
3. On the right side of the dialogue box, make sure the Enable JavaScript box is checked.
4. Click OK.
IBM-compatible systems using Netscape Navigator
1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.. to open the dialogue box
2. On the left side of the dialogue box, click Advanced.
3. On the right side of the dialogue box, make sure the Enable JavaScript box is checked.
4. Click OK.
If you're using Navigator 3.x, go to the Options menu, select
Network Preferences, and click Languages. Click the JavaScript
checkbox to enable it.
If you're using Navigator 2.x or 1.x, you need to upgrade your
browser first. JavaScript is enabled by default.
UNDERSTANDING COOKIES
A "cookie" is a small piece of information which is stored temporarily on your computer. This is useful for having your browser remember information which the web server can later retrieve.
For example, when you browse through an "online shopping mall" and add items to your "shopping cart" as you browse, a list of the items you've picked up is stored by your computer so that you can pay for all of the items at once when you're finished shopping.
Cookies were once believed to reveal all your presonal information to unethical web sites including you email address and passwords. Although it is possible to collect a limited amount of browser habits from cookies, it is generally agreed that the benefits from the use of cookies far outweigh any disadvantages.
Cookies are ENABLED in browsers as the default setting.
To enable cookies, follow the directions below:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
Click on the "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
To enable:
Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.
To enable:
Select "Always accept cookies".
Click "OK".
Netscape Communicator 4.x
Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category.
To enable:
Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies").
Click "OK".
